Xbox has confirmed its lineup for Summer Game Fest Play Days 2026, bringing a diverse mix of titles from studios across the globe. From co-op survival to experimental indie concepts, the showcase appears packed with hands-on demos for attendees.
Xbox reveals Summer Game Fest Play Days lineup
The company has confirmed the presence of developers from regions like the U.S., Canada, Poland, China, South Korea, and Australia eager to share their work at Summer Game Fest Play Days. Leading the lineup is Grounded 2, which will feature a 30-minute co-op demo where players take on a new lizard boss called King Dozer. For those unaware, the sequel builds on community-driven features, including rideable “Buggies,” which were heavily requested in the original game.
Another standout title is Aniimo, for which attendees can have 15 to 30-minute of demo to its open-world creature-collecting gameplay. Yo can transform into creatures for exploration and combat. Meanwhile, Grave Seasons provides a longer demo of around one hour, blending farming sim mechanics with a darker twist. Gameplay involves allowing players to prevent or ignore a potential murder during a week-long gameplay loop.
Speaking of action-heavy titles, Gungrave Gore: Blood Heat delivers a 20 to 30-minute demo focused on fast-paced, combo-driven combat, while Valor Mortis offers a 30-minute look at its first-person soulslike experience set in a reimagined Napoleonic era.
Indie creativity also takes center stage
It’s not just big names, though. Erosion includes a 30-minute demo built around time-based consequences in a roguelike world, while Don’t Fret stretches to a 40-minute session mixing horror and music in a surreal setting. On the lighter side, Way to the Woods offers a 20-minute cinematic adventure featuring a deer and fawn, and My Arms Are Longer Now provides a one-hour demo leaning into absurd humor with a unique heist concept.
Speaking of games, let’s not forget that 49 titles are coming to Xbox in May 2026, among which Forza Horizon 6 and Subnautica 2 are also the ones.
