Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition is Now Free to Claim for Meta Horizon+ Subscribers

Microsoft is giving Xbox fans another reason to look at Meta’s VR ecosystem. Starting today, eligible Meta Horizon+ subscribers can claim Xbox Game Pass Starter as part of their membership, unlocking dozens of games and cloud gaming without paying for a separate Game Pass subscription.

The announcement expands Microsoft’s long-running partnership with Meta and adds another way for Quest users to jump into the Xbox ecosystem. While the Xbox app has already been available on Meta Quest headsets, this latest benefit bundles Game Pass Starter directly with an active Meta Horizon+ subscription.

Meta Horizon+ now includes Xbox Game Pass Starter

The newly added perk gives eligible subscribers access to the Xbox Game Pass Starter tier in supported regions. That includes a catalog of more than 50 games, 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming every month, and Microsoft Rewards for playing supported titles.

The available lineup features several well-known games, including Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Grounded, Overcooked 2, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, and SnowRunner.

Microsoft says the offer is available beginning today for qualifying Meta Horizon+ members where the promotion is supported.
