Xbox Gets 37 New Games From September 28 to October 2

Next Week on Xbox is packed with major releases, with Microsoft confirming dozens of games arriving across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass from September 28 through October 2.

Microsoft recently revealed the latest Xbox Free Play Days lineup, but players will have plenty more to check out once the new week begins.

Microsoft has revealed the next wave of Xbox games, with some of the biggest names including Minecraft Dungeons II, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition, Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, and Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.

September 28

• Minecraft Dungeons II: Dungeon-crawling action adventure spanning two worlds, launching with Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.
• Gothic II Complete Classic: Classic RPG combining Gothic II with the Night of the Raven expansion.
• Way of the Hunter 2: Hunting simulator featuring wildlife including moose, elk, bears, bison, rabbits, and birds.
• Keep Driving: Atmospheric road-trip RPG about hitchhikers, odd jobs, car repairs, and planning your journey.
• Blades & Battles: Arcade-inspired fantasy action game with colossal bosses and local co-op.
• Lost in Loss: Hand-drawn hidden-object detective adventure about citizens mysteriously losing their identities.
• Sneak Cheese: Strategic puzzle game where a tiny mouse moves cheese while avoiding hungry cats.
• Transport Fever 3: Transport-management game about building networks across land, sea, and air.

September 29

• The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered: Free upgrade with improved visuals, gameplay, progression, and both major expansions.
• NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare: Chaotic multiplayer brawler about defending your home while destroying your neighbors’ property.

• Cat Lines: Puzzle game where an adorable kitten uses yarn to cover every block in each stage.
• King’s Blade: Fantasy beat ’em up inspired by classic arcade games and focused on fighting hordes of enemies.
• Mia’s Journey: Puzzle adventure about a woman transformed into a cat who must break a mysterious curse.

October 1

• Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition: Origin-story campaign following Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during Emergence Day, with Horde Siege and Versus multiplayer.
• Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered: Unreal Engine 5 revival featuring more than 40 officers and classic 1-vs-1,000 combat.
• End of Abyss: Dark action adventure about exploring an abandoned underground facility filled with monstrous creatures.
• Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts: Naval strategy game focused on designing warships and fighting historically inspired battles.

• RetroSpace: Sci-fi action game about surviving a space station swallowed by a sentient black hole.
• Toycrafter: Crafting-focused game about a disillusioned toy maker turning toward increasingly ambitious creations.
• Wax Museum: Hidden Objects: Hidden-object puzzle adventure set inside an abandoned museum after a car accident.

October 2

• Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve: Aerial combat game from PROJECT ACES featuring dogfights and story-driven missions. Deluxe Edition early access begins September 28.
• Aetherfall: Platforming adventure built around floating platforms, environmental puzzles, obstacles, and collectibles.
• Aery – Calm Horizon 2: Relaxing exploration game where you fly as a bird through scenic landscapes collecting crystals.
• Agefield High: Rock the School: Early-2000s coming-of-age adventure about friendship, romance, rebellion, and high-school life.
• Kawaii Push: Relaxing anime-style Sokoban puzzle game focused on pushing boxes into the correct positions.
• Mister Scary – Where Are You?: Halloween-themed adventure about a purple monster searching for his missing family.
• Monster Nursery: Creature-raising game where you hatch, grow, and sell monsters while completing a 200-entry handbook.
• Stone Run: Fast-paced hand-drawn arcade game about outrunning a giant rolling stone and dodging obstacles.

The release schedule gives Xbox players a particularly busy start to October, especially with major releases such as Gears of War: E-Day Premium Edition, Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered, and Ace Combat 8 arriving within two days.

Game Pass subscribers also have more releases to look forward to, as eight games are already confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in October.
