Starting today, Xbox Insiders will begin receiving notifications on their enrolled Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles relating to new Insider news and changes.

The notifications will use the Xbox toast system that’s also used for Xbox Achievement notifications and those relating to screen recordings and downloads.

Once live, all Xbox Insiders will receive notifications by default though they can be disabled by manually turning off the Xbox Insider option in the Xbox Notifications settings page.

Xbox Insiders are groups of Xbox consoles owners who have opted into testing new features and builds of the Xbox operating system before they’re pushed out to the general public.

Are you an Xbox Insider and are you going to keep notifications enabled? Share your thoughts with the community in the comments below and then follow us on Twitter and Facebook for more Xbox gaming news.
