Xbox Is Hosting Two Major Game Betas on Its Consoles This April

Xbox is treating its console players to an exciting month with a pair of massive game previews. The company just announced that it is hosting two major beta tests on its platform this April. Whether you enjoy brutal superhero fighting games or deep science fiction roleplaying adventures, you will find something interesting to try out. The first of these testing periods kicks off later this week.

Superhero brawls with Invincible VS

The first big beta is for Invincible VS. This is a fighting game that drops you into three-versus-three tag battles. You get to play as popular characters from the famous comic book universe. The developers are running a free open beta on Xbox Series X and S. It starts on April 9 and wraps up on April 11.

You will have access to ten different fighters during the preview. Because this is an open event, anyone can download the client and jump right into the action. It’s a great way to see whether you enjoy the combat system before the final version drops. The full game officially releases just a few weeks later on April 30.

Space exploration in the expanse: Osiris Reborn

The second game is completely different. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a science fiction action game set in a well-known television universe. You play as a mercenary trying to keep a crew alive in space. Unlike the first game, this preview is a closed beta that begins on April 22.

To get access, you must buy a founder pack from the official website. The developers promise that the beta will let you play through a full mission taken straight from the main story.

This is a rare chance to play early because the actual game will not launch until spring 2027. Xbox fans will want to keep an eye on this massive role-playing project as it continues to develop.
