xbox upgrade Game Pass Ultimate

Earlier, you could convert all your Xbox Live Gold months to a Game Pass Ultimate subscription in a 1:1 ratio at a small additional cost using a quick hack. But the recent hike in prices of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from $14.99 to $16.99 changed the equation!

While the hack still exists, you no longer get the 1:1 ratio. It’s now 3:2 to accommodate the increased prices. Also, you will have to pay for 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate instead of $1, as was the case earlier.

This left many concerned, and they were unsure if this was a glitch or a problem at their end.

But we confirmed it from many who recently used the hack. It’s still applicable, but the conversion rate is changed to 3:2 instead of 1:1. Some are surely not happy about it, but the fact remains that the conversion is still a viable deal.

My GPU expired last month so I bought a year of Gold/Core and then bought a month of Ultimate. It converted 12 months Core down to 9 months Ultimate, I think.
I did the 3 year trick 3 years ago and was bummed to hear they nerfed it. Still a good deal though.

So, 12 months of Xbox Live Gold/Game Pass Core will now upgrade to 8 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Add the other month of the latter that you paid for, and it takes the final total to 9 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Remember, this hack is applicable for up to 36 months of Xbox Live Gold/Game Pass Core, and for maximum benefits, you should go with this period.

Besides, the transition from Xbox Live Gold to Xbox Game Pass Core doesn’t affect the conversion. The annual subscription vouchers are available for $59.99 on third-party websites.

You just have to pay slightly higher, but it’s still a cost-effective solution, as opposed to directly subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

For those who don’t know, you can also get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free by using reward points.
