xbox and palworld join hands

Released just a few weeks ago, Palworld has garnered tremendous popularity and has already been played by more than 7 million users on Xbox. At present, it’s the most played 3rd party game in the Xbox Game Pass history.

Sensing significant potential, Xbox and Palworld’s developer, Pocketpair, are now closely working together to better optimize the game for the console.

What does Xbox and Pocketpair working together mean for Palworld?

In the official blog post, Xbox states, We’re providing support to enable dedicated servers, offering engineering resources to help with GPU and memory optimization, speeding up the process to make Palworld updates available for players, and working with the team to optimize the title for our platform.

With dedicated servers, the waiting time to play Palworld on Xbox Cloud Gaming should come down. Recently, it showed more than 40 minutes to some users.

Also, if you have been getting a black screen on launching Palworld, the game incessantly crashes, or you can’t connect to the network, things are about to improve.

Pocketpair has already released several updates for Palworld, and the latest two, v0.1.4.0 and v0.1.1.3, boast massive improvements to the gameplay.

Graphics settings in Palworld

Besides, with better graphics and memory optimization, you wouldn’t have to play Palworld at low FPS, and the game’s performance will witness a significant boost on Xbox consoles.

Palworld has already created history, and the road ahead looks promising. With Microsoft also more focused on gaming, given the fact that Xbox posted a 49% increase in revenue, the two closely working together makes sense. And it’s bound to benefit Xbox users!
