However, at times the YouTube pause button and the progress bar don’t go away.

How can I fix the YouTube pause button not going away on Android?

1. Disable the Accessibility menu

  1. Launch the YouTube app on your Android phone.
  2. Tap on your Profile.

  3. Select Settings.
  4. At the bottom, tap on Accessibility.
  5. Toggle the switch to turn off the Accessibility player.

Relaunch the YouTube app and check if the YouTube pause button not disappearing on the Samsung device issue is resolved. If the issue persists, follow the next set of steps.

From Android Settings

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap on Accessibility. Use the search feature to find the Accessibility setting.
  3. Tap on Switch Access.
  4. Toggle the Use service switch to turn it off.
  5. Go back to the Accessibility section.
  6. Open Accessibility Menu and turn it off as well. Skip if you don’t see this option.

Restart your device and open YouTube. Check if the pause button issue is resolved.

Reinstall the app updates

  5. Select Uninstall updates and confirm the action.
