5 Games Confirmed to Leave Xbox Game Pass in Late May 2026

As Xbox continues to drop new games for players, it has also confirmed the next batch of games leaving Xbox Game Pass later this month, and honestly, some of these departures might sting for RPG fans. As seen in the Xbox Mobile app, five titles will exit the service on May 31, 2026.

One of the biggest games leaving this time is definitely Metaphor: ReFantazio. The Atlus RPG received strong reception from players ever since launch, so its removal will likely disappoint quite a few subscribers. Speaking of Atlus and SEGA titles, Persona 4 Golden is also heading out the door on the same date.

Here’s the complete list of games currently scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on May 31:

• Against the Storm
• Crypt Custodian
• Metaphor: ReFantazio
• Persona 4 Golden
• Spray Paint Simulator

As usual, Xbox is also offering at least a 20% discount if you want to permanently keep any of them before they leave the catalog. Some titles could even receive bigger discounts once upcoming Microsoft Store sales go live over the next few weeks. Not to forget, five games are confirmed to join Xbox Game Pass in June.
