Xbox Announces 32 New Games Launching This Week Across Console and PC

Forza Horizon 6 and Riven lead Xbox’s huge new release week

xbox new games this week

Xbox players are getting a massive wave of new releases this week, with 32 games launching across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC over the next seven days, as True Achievements writes. The lineup includes major first-party launches, indie titles, remasters, and two day-one Xbox Game Pass additions.

The biggest release of the week is clearly the racing giant Forza Horizon 6, which launches on May 19 for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Microsoft is also bringing the game directly to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one, continuing the company’s aggressive subscription strategy for first-party releases.

Another major launch arriving the same day is Riven, the modern remake of the classic puzzle-adventure game originally tied to Myst. The title finally lands on Xbox platforms after previously releasing elsewhere.

Forza Horizon 6 headlines the week

Microsoft appears to be positioning Forza Horizon 6 as the centerpiece of this release cycle. The game launches exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC, skipping Xbox One entirely as Microsoft continues moving larger first-party projects toward current-generation hardware.

The launch also gives Game Pass subscribers another major day-one title. Alongside Forza Horizon 6, several other releases this week support Xbox Play Anywhere or PC availability.

Xbox continues expanding platform plans

The release wave arrives during a busy period for Microsoft’s gaming division. Xbox recently asked fans to vote on which classic titles they want added to the backward compatibility program, while reports continue discussing internal projects codenamed Saluki and Positron.

Microsoft also recently rebranded the Xbox name stylization to the fully capitalized “XBOX,” signaling another branding shift as the company pushes deeper into its multiplatform and ecosystem-focused strategy.
