Xbox has announced 32 new games coming this week, but the company also quietly expanded Xbox Play Anywhere support across the Xbox Store, as True Achivements writes.

The new additions include major titles like Batman: Arkham Knight, Subnautica 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online, alongside a wide range of indie and smaller releases.

More Games Now Support Xbox Play Anywhere

Xbox Play Anywhere lets players buy a compatible game once and access it across Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs while sharing saves, achievements, and progress between platforms.

Some Titles Were Already Expected

Several of the newly tagged games had already been expected to support Xbox Play Anywhere before the store updates appeared.

CONTROL Resonant had previously confirmed support, while Subnautica 2, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, and The Elder Scrolls Online were also widely anticipated to receive the feature.

The addition of the Xbox Play Anywhere tag for The Elder Scrolls Online arrived earlier than many expected, as support was previously rumored for June.

The latest Xbox Play Anywhere expansion arrives during a busy week for Xbox.

Alongside announcing 32 upcoming game releases, Microsoft recently changed Xbox branding to “XBOX” in some official materials and also acknowledged ongoing password-related account issues affecting certain users.
