Microsoft Loop introduces a new board visualization for Loop tables after the previous board templates for Loop were well received by users.
We’ve heard from many of you that you enjoy and value our board templates—such as the Kanban Board and Team Retrospective. With that in mind, we decided to extend our offering by adding the ability to switch to a Board visualization for all table-based components in Loop.Â
Microsoft
The Redmond-based tech giant says the new board visualization has the potential to greatly streamline workflows, project management, brainstorming sessions, and so on.
The new feature is now available to all Microsoft 365 subscribers, and it can be enabled in just 2 steps:
- Open a Table-based component in Loop.
- Switch view > Board.Â
You can try the new Loop Tables board visualization in several scenarios, as the Redmond-based tech giant points out:
- Create cards.
- Add new fields or properties to existing cards.
- Move cards across rows, or swimlanes, to assign them to another stage in your project.
- Move swimlanes to adjust their visibility and priority status.
- Duplicate existing cards as a template when adding related tasks.Â
This is quite useful and it’s another exciting addition for Microsoft Loop. Recently, the platform integrated Copilot, which allowed users to quickly initiate projects, or edit, and add new information to an existing one.
Plus, the AI tool was available in multiple languages at launch, which turned it into a must-have for any project.
This feature will most likely be well received by the community, however, if users find anything buggy about it, the Redmond-based tech giant encourages them to leave feedback so the company can improve it.
