The upcoming Developer_Direct event from Xbox and Bethesda will apparently be a shorter, more focused type of showcase according to a tweet from Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg. Earlier today Greenberg tweeted that the event “is tracking at 43 minutes long.”
Also since many folks have asked our show is tracking 43 mins long. As outlined in this announcement our goal has been to be as transparent as possible on what dev teams/games to expect to see in the show. Be sure to read the details from the 4 teams:https://t.co/PfitWOIsX5

Note that this runtime does not include the ESO Chapter Reveal Event, which is considered a standalone show. It also does not include anything from the highly-anticipated Starfield, which will get its own standalone event at some as-yet unannounced time.
While 43 minutes may sound like a short amount of time to show off what Xbox fans have to look forward to in 2023, the Developer_Direct showcase will likely eschew any fluff or talking heads and likely feature nothing but in-depth, developer-curated looks at Redfall, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends and, who knows, maybe even a surprise or two.
The Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct will livestream on Wednesday, January 25th at 12pm PST/3pm EST. Watch links are below.
