Microsoft has announced that ID@Xbox is set to host the 5th annual pre-PAX open house. The event will be on Microsoft’s Redmond campus and will feature over 50 Xbox games from independent developers, and 8 new games.

Registration is open now (for free) and you can join in on August 30 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to enjoy the games, and meet developers. You don’t need a PAX ticket to attend, and there will also be the chance to win a prize raffle. Other planned events can be seen below.

  • Meet and chat with other teams at Microsoft.
  • Say hello to the Xbox Ambassadors and spin their prize wheel to win some swag!
  • Head to the Mixer area to try out the latest MixPlay experiences and get a glimpse at the future of interactive gaming.
  • Chat with the Microsoft User Research team to share your personal feedback and help them make better products for you and everyone.

The 8 new titles available for play at the pre-PAX open house include Bot Rods, La-Mulana2, Museum of Simulation Technology, Orphan, Revenant Dogma, Super Retro Maker, Thunder Rally, and Where the Bees Make Honey. Free parking will be available in the area, and there will also be buses taking attendees directly to and from the event at the Washington State Convention Center.
