A PC release for Red Dead Redemption is on the cards, here's what we know so far

If reports are to be believed, the much-requested Red Dead Redemption PC port is about to happen!
The developments were first shared by Tez2, a community member who closely monitors changes to Rockstar games, in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The image read,
Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare. Now playable on PC.
When asked about the source of the information, Tez2 confirmed that the shared image was pulled from Rockstar’s launcher site file, which was recently updated. He also claimed that the market strings were in line with how Rockstar promotes GTA V and shared an image of the same.
Based on the available information, the developments do look credible, but we couldn’t independently confirm it with Rockstar. However, if there are plans to release Red Dead Redemption on PC, Rockstar should make it public soon since the news is already out. There’s no surprise element anymore!
If that happens, it means Red Dead Redemption will finally come to PC 14 years after its initial release on May 18, 2010. That seems like a long wait, especially since the desktop version of the sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2, was out within 13 months of the initial release.
