Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update Drops with New Map, Big Enemies, Fresh Event & More
The new enemy is called "ARC Turbine"
Arc Raiders players have just received the Riven Tides Patch 1.26.0. The latest patch brings a new map, fresh enemies, balance changes, and a long list of gameplay fixes. The update expands the Rust Belt experience with new exploration zones, loot systems, and combat adjustments designed to reshape how raids unfold.
Riven Tides update brings new map and ARC threat
The biggest addition is the Riven Tides map, which introduces an abandoned shoreline, Exodus port, and the Panorama Azzurro hotel. Players will also encounter Beachcombing, a new map condition that allows buried treasure hunting using specific tools, adding a new layer of exploration risk and reward.
A new ARC enemy called the ARC Turbine also joins the battlefield, patrolling aerial zones. However, its exact behavior and counter strategies remain unclear, pushing players to discover its mechanics in real time.
Several new items are also introduced, including the Powered Descender gadget, Crash Mat throwable, White Flag deployable, Dockmaster’s Detector, and the Avian Alarm project. A new “Last Resort” event lets players earn rewards through ship model collection and XP progression across maps.
Weapon balance, ARC tweaks, and system changes
The update also overhauls weapon economy and durability systems. Upgrading weapons now restores 25 percent durability, while spawn rates and durability ranges have been adjusted across map zones to increase tension in high-tier areas.
Durability loss per shot has also been rebalanced, favoring higher-tier weapons, while knocked-out penalties have been reduced. ARC enemy presence has been adjusted too, with Comets and Fireflies reduced in beginner-focused sessions to ease early-game difficulty.
Combat items like Trigger ‘Nade and Photoelectric Cloak have also been tuned, alongside buffs to the Bettina weapon, which now deals higher damage but fires slower.
System fixes, stability updates, and known issues
The patch also includes wide-ranging fixes across ARC behavior, maps, audio, UI, and performance systems. Issues like broken aim assist, stuck enemies, animation bugs, and audio glitches have been addressed.
Several known issues still remain, including rare purchase bugs, missing quest completion in Riven Tides, and visual glitches in spectator mode. Some ARC units may still spawn incorrectly or behave unpredictably in certain areas.
