GTA 6 CyberLeek Leak Storm Isn’t Over Yet, Here’s What We Know So Far

It seems the never-ending GTA 6 gameplay leaks are now testing the patience of Take-Two and Rockstar. CyberLeek has released a steady stream of gameplay clips, map footage, and other material since mid-August. Now, Take-Two is chasing the source through legal action. Here’s everything that is happening around GTA 6 leaks right now.

GTA 6 leaks started with map footage before gameplay followed

The CyberLeek’s GTA 6 leak campaign appears to have begun with map sneak peeks before the leaks exploded publicly. Early leak material showed cropped sections featuring locations including Dalton Island, Tequesta Retreat, Gloriana Key, and Catalan Key.

A much larger Leonida map image then leaked alongside gameplay footage. The map has not been independently verified in full, so it should be treated with caution. The first major gameplay clips showed Jason Duval performing ordinary activities. One leaked clip even featured basketball, while another showed Jason driving through Leonida before attacking an NPC.

That was followed by a taser-focused clip. Jason steals a security guard’s taser before using it during an encounter. Another clip reportedly showed a healing item called Zombix. The footage suggested repeated use could reduce the item’s effectiveness.

GTA 6 leaks have showcased driving, flying, and larger gameplay systems

The next major release showed Jason flying a plane over Leonida. The footage provided a wider look at the world and ended with the word “LEEK” appearing through bullet holes. That clip somehow made fans believe that the leaker appeared to have access to a playable build. CyberLeek has repeatedly claimed it possesses such a build, although that claim remains unverified.

Not to forget, researchers have analyzed the builds circulating on social media and found malware hidden inside a package. So, it’s best that you don’t download those.

Next up, two hypercar clips showed Jason driving a high-end vehicle and later stealing another car. The footage also reportedly showed vehicle interactions, armed robbery, and additional details around driving and combat. These clips continued appearing despite Take-Two’s efforts to remove unauthorized material.

A strip-club clip leak followed just a day before, featuring gameplay inside the location and a brief cutscene. A later gas-station clip showed Jason stealing a fuel truck before the sequence ended with his character dying. The latest major leak is related to the nudist area. It showed Jason exploring the location before the situation turned violent.

CyberLeek has also reportedly used polls to let followers choose what appears next. Recent options included a beach, another strip-club sequence, and the nudist location.

Take-Two is now trying to find CyberLeek and save its big day from getting ruined

Take-Two filed DMCA subpoena requests with Microsoft and Discord. However, the marketing director of Discord recently said that they haven’t been served any such subpoena.

As far as the subpoena is concerned, the company wants account information that could identify the people behind CyberLeek. Its requests reportedly include IP addresses, account details, device identifiers, and related cloud data.

Microsoft is also being asked for information connected to GitHub and OneDrive. The legal filings describe the leaked material as copyrighted audiovisual content, artwork, images, dialogue, and other creative elements. That language makes the publisher’s position considerably clearer than its public silence.

Xbox’s CTO, Scott Van Vliet took to X and confirmed the team is working with Take-Two and Rockstar to protect their intellectual property.
