Xbox Game Pass September 2026 Wave 1 Announced, Includes COD: Black Ops Cold War, and More

If you have been eager to know which new games are joining Xbox Game Pass in September 2026, the list is now official. In addition, the company has also confirmed that ten games, including Cyberpunk 2077, will leave the service on September 15.

COD: Black Ops Cold War joins the Xbox Game Pass Septmeber 2026 Wave 1 lineup

Starting on September 3rd, Xbox Game Pass will include SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed. Dice a Million follows on September 4, while Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War lands on September 8. The latter includes its globe-spanning single-player campaign.

The Royal Writ and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage both join Xbox Game Pass on September 10. RuneScape: Dragonwilds then joins to the service on September 15. The co-op survival adventure puts players into Ashenfall after dragons awaken. Speaking of September 15, TCG Card Shop Simulator also gets its full 1.0 launch via Game Pass. It leaves Game Preview with the update.

More Game Pass drops are still coming

EA Sports NHL 27 gets a 10-hour EA Play early access trial on September 4. Aniimo follows September 16 with an exclusive Game Pass reward pack. Not to forget, Microsoft is also continuing its day-one release strategy with SpeedRunners 2.
