AMD rolls out new chipset driver with full Windows 11 25H2 support

The updated driver, version 7.11.26.2142, arrives just as Microsoft opened the 25H2 upgrade path to all eligible users, so the timing works perfectly for AMD systems.

The package now includes smaller, more efficient drivers for key chipset components. AMD also introduced several PMF related changes that improve how power and thermal management works on laptops.

Platform Management Framework adjusts performance, fan curves, and power distribution in real time, so these refinements help AMD powered notebooks run more consistently on Windows 11 25H2.

The 3D V Cache Optimizer driver received an update as well, which improves scheduling behavior for X3D processors. Users should see better performance in games and other cache sensitive workloads on Windows 11 25H2.

Ryzen Master has also been updated to version 3.0.1, and the new release includes a redesigned interface for Ryzen 7000 and newer chips and adds DDR Nitro Mode for advanced high speed DDR5 tuning and overclocking.

These updates arrive shortly after reports that AMD CPU prices have quietly risen, as global RAM and SSD costs continue to climb. Nevertheless, if you’re AMD user, be sure not to miss this update.
