3 Simple Ways to Fix the Apollo TV Error 404

The Apollo TV error 404 is usually a connection error and you’ll be unable to access the specific channel you want to watch.
This can be caused by an unstable internet connection, server issues or built-up cache that has become corrupt. Another possibility is the channel is currently down for maintenance and will be back up shortly.
How do I fix the Apollo TV error 404?
1. Clear cache
1.1 On your TV
- On your TV, find your Settings.
- Go to Apps.
- Find Apollo TV and click on it.
- Scroll down and select Clear cache.
1.2 Android app
- Open the Settings app on your Android device, and select Apps.
- Choose Apollo TV from the list of applications.
- Tap on Storage.
- Tap on Clear data and then on Clear cache.
- Open the Apollo TV app again and check for improvements.
1.3 Browser cache
- For this step, we shall be using the Chrome browser.
- Launch your Chrome browser and click the three vertical ellipses in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Click on Privacy and security, then select Clear browsing data.
- Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, then hit Clear data.
1.4 Firestick cache
- In the Firestick menu, go to Settings.
- Now, select Applications.
- Now, select Manage Installed Applications and choose the Apollo TV app.
- First, select the Clear cache option and check if it works. If not, come back to this menu and select Clear data instead.
2. Use a VPN
- Press the Windows key and select Settings.
- Next, select Network & internet and click on VPN in the right-side menu.
- Click on Add VPN and follow the prompts to enable it.
- Try logging in again and see if the issue persists.
Your ISP may be causing throttling hence slowing down your connection. Switching to a VPN can help conceal your internet traffic and allow you to connect to Apollo TV.

3. Reinstall Apollo TV
3.1 Firestick
- Go to the Home screen and select the Settings icon.
- Choose the Applications option.
- Now, select Manage Installed Applications.
- Finally, click Apollo TV and choose the Uninstall option.
3.2 Android TV
- On your Android device, click on Settings.
- In the Settings menu, click on Apps.
- From the list of apps, click on Apollo TV, and then press Force Stop.
- Next, press OK to confirm the action.
- Now, go back to the app menu, click on Clear Cache, and press OK again to confirm the action.
- Again, in the menu, click on Clear Data, and click on OK to confirm.
- Return to the app menu, and click on Uninstall.
- Press OK to confirm the uninstallation of the app.
3.3 On a mobile phone
- Open the phone Settings, and go to Apps.
- Select Apollo TV from the list.
- Tap on Uninstall at the bottom.
- Choose OK in the confirmation prompt.
- Finally, reinstall Apollo TV from the app store.
