3 ways to fix browser automatic login issue

The modern web browsers like the Google Chrome and the recently released Microsoft Edge allows the users to automatically login to websites to which they have allowed the browser to save and manage the password.

This saves you from the hassle of typing username and password for every login. However, some users have reported the Browser does not support automatic login issue in Windows.

Why can’t I auto-login to websites?

1. Disable VPN

  1. If you have a VPN enabled while trying to login to any of the websites, try to disable it and check again.

3. Disable Cleaning Software

  1. System cleaning utilities like CCleaner can and may clear your browser cookies when you close the browser.
  2. The next time you open the website, it will ask you to enter the password again as the cookies have been deleted.
  3. Disabling Ccleaner from cleaning site cookies can help you to resolve the issue.
  4. Launch Ccleaner.
  5. Click on Options.
  6. Click on Cookies tab.
  7. In the Cookies to keep column, check if the website you are trying to automatically login is listed.browser does not support automatic login
  8. If not, from Cookies on Computer section, select the website name and click on the Add button.

  12. Try to login again with a username and password for the first time. Close the page and open it again to check for any improvements.

4. Clean and Reset your Browser

  2. Launch your browser like Chrome.
  3. Click on the Menu button and select Settings.
  4. Click on Advanced button.
  5. Scroll down to the end of the page and click on Clean up computer.
