3 Ways to Connect an Xbox Controller to Quest 2

1. Press the dedicated button on the Xbox controller to put it in pairing mode. Once in pairing mode, you will see white linking blinking on the controller.
2. Now, open the Quest app on your phone and go to Settings.
3. Scroll down and select the Controllers option.
4. Choose Pair New Controller.
5. Select Pair Gamepad from the available options.
6. Let it scan for available controllers, then choose yours from the list, and follow the on-screen instructions from the list.
7. If the Xbox controller is not found on the first attempt, tap on Scan again.
8. Once connected, the blinking white light will turn solid.

3. Wireless (Bluetooth) connection via Quest’s home environment

1. Press and hold the dedicated button on your Xbox controller for 3 seconds to turn on the pairing mode.
2. Now, get into the Quest’s home environment and open Quick Settings from the bottom left.
3. Choose Bluetooth and then select Pair new device.
4. When your Xbox controller appears, select it and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Instead, you can also go to Devices settings and add the controller. It just takes a few more steps.
