Microsoft Teams Copilot agents

Copilot agents, those little AI models built to complete certain tasks, will soon be available in Teams group chats. According to a recent entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant is set to release them in December.

Here’s what the entry says:

Now users can discover and add Copilot agents to group chats in Teams to extend Microsoft Copilot to their flow of work.

Microsoft announced Copilot agents together with Copilot Studio, a platform that allows organizations to build their own Copilot models, taking into consideration their specific infrastructure and line of work.

Hoping to change the way business is done and help AI get adopted faster in the work field, Microsoft says these agents are safe and can only be used inside the organization.

The company recently announced its release, and Copilot agents are currently being rolled out to customers worldwide.
