Delta Force Season Morphosis Is Live With New Operator, Destructible Map, and Major Updates
Delta Force has officially rolled out its new season, Morphosis, and the full patch notes confirm a substantial wave of fresh content and long-requested improvements. The update is now available on all platforms and arrives shortly after the game secured a “Platinum” spot in Steam’s Best of 2025 list.
Season Morphosis introduces a new playable operator, a destruction-heavy Warfare map, expanded Operations content, and several quality-of-life changes shaped directly by community feedback.
New operator and gameplay additions coming to Delta Force
Morphosis adds Vlinder, a new Support Operator built around squad survivability. She deploys healing butterfly drones and rescue UAVs designed to stabilize teammates and keep units in the fight during intense engagements.
A brand-new Warfare map, Aftershock, also joins the rotation. The map focuses on large-scale urban combat with full environmental destruction, allowing players to collapse buildings and trigger seismic events that dynamically reshape the battlefield.
New modes and Operations expansions
The update introduces Flashpoint, a mode where a single, constantly shifting objective draws the entire lobby into one evolving conflict. Control points move throughout the match, forcing teams to adapt on the fly.
In Operations mode, Fiery Owl Hunt lets players take control of boss Saeed and his guards, adding a fresh twist to PvE encounters. Meanwhile, Space City receives a major expansion with new areas, swimming mechanics, and a new boss encounter featuring the Efficiency Director, Alonso Hudson.
Morphosis also delivers several player-requested updates, including:
- Solo-queue matchmaking for Layali Grove
- In-game vehicle customization
- A Normal difficulty option for Tide Prison
- Additional balance and usability improvements
The Season Pass includes the new operator Vlinder, five firearm skins, four vehicle skins, 2×3 Safe Boxes, Delta Tickets, and various bonus items.
Elsewhere in gaming, players can look forward to new marriage candidates arriving with the Stardew Valley 1.7 update, while demand continues to build for a potential Fallout 3 Remaster.
Fans of industry events also have something to mark on their calendars, as The Game Awards 2026 has officially locked in its date.
