How can I create a new application in the Discord Developer Portal?

1. Log in with your Discord account and go to the Applications page. Click the New Application button.
    
2. Enter the application name and click on Create.
   
3. Look for the Application ID and Public Key. You’ll need these values later.
   
4. Ensure that you have NodeJS and Git installed on your PC.
5. Open the command line and run the following: git clone https://github.com/discord/discord-example-app.git
   
6. Next use the following commands to go to the discord-example-app directory and run the dependencies:
   cd discord-example-app
   npm install
7. Next, go to the project folder and rename the .env.sample to .env.
8. Open the .env file and replace <YOUR_APP_ID> and <YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY> with values from Step 3. Don’t close the file yet.
9. Lastly, go to Developer Portal, go to Bot, and click on Reset Token.
   
10. Copy the next token to the .env file and replace <YOUR_BOT_TOKEN> with it.
11. Save changes.
