Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 come to Xbox One in 25th Anniversary celebration

Bethesda has released the Doom trilogy to Xbox One this week. The classic first person shooters titles, Doom, Doom II (Classic), and Doom 3, have all been ported over not just to Xbox One consoles for users to purchase now, but also PS4 as well as the Nintendo Switch.
The releases come not too long after the original game launched in December of 1993, making it more than 25 years old. Those who might have grown up playing the games can re-experience them for just $4.99 each for the first two titles, and $9.99 for Doom 3.
Of course, while the games might have been officially released for the Xbox and its two competitors just recently, some Xbox players have been playing them even longer thanks to the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility implementations. However, now that the games have been officially released for the Xbox One hardware, users will get to experience the best performance.
Also worth mentioning, as per the initial release of the games, a Bethesda account is required in order to play the first two games as noted in the product descriptions on the Microsoft Store. Bethesda admitted the mistake on their part, saying that they “are working on changing the requirement to optional now.”
