Edge Dev 122

Microsoft has released Edge 122 to the Dev channel, just days after it debuted the ability for Edge to support AVIF and AV1 file formats on the Beta Channel. Edge Dev 122 comes with the Insider Program with many fixes, changes, and improvements. On the other hand, only 2 features were added, but maybe it’s for the better.

It’s only been 10 days into 2024, but Edge already introduced some powerful features to users everywhere. For instance, just last week, Microsoft added the ability to upload screenshots to Copilot within Edge, with the AI tool analyzing them and coming up with its commentary on them.

So while new features like these are always welcomed, users are more concerned about the stability of the browser, and its current situation. The Redmond-based tech giant hasn’t forgotten about that, and with the release of the Edge Dev 122, numerous fixes have been implemented.

We say it’s about time. Take a look below at all the changes coming with Dev 122. Please note that these fixes will end up in the stable version of Edge in a couple of weeks. By the end of the month, they should be rolled out.
