Microsoft has rolled out the latest update for its Edge Dev Channel, version 135.0.3179.11, introducing many improvements and new features, including AI for further support.
More specifically, the update supports displaying Copilot in the Side Pane, enabling seamless tab switching and navigation within the same tab.

Numerous issues have been resolved, such as crashes caused by specific actions like CTRL + TAB on collapsed tab groups or switching profiles in the search bar.
The update addresses platform-specific issues, including display glitches on iOS, toolbar disappearance on Android, and tab shadow effects on macOS. For example, the PDF toolbar will no longer disappear when closing the browser and opening an external PDF with Edge on Android. Some issues regarding the recently released Game Assist crashing links in sidebar apps were also fixed.
