Eligible Xbox Game Pass Members to Get Discord Nitro Benefits Later This Month

After multiple leaks and rumors, Discord today confirmed that Nitro subscribers now get free access to a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass. As previously leaked, Discord Nitro subscribers will get a library of 50+ PC and console games to download and play anytime they want. The company has further confirmed that the Nitro membership remains at the same $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.

Discord Nitro benefits are heading to Xbox Game Pass subscribers later this month

As far as Game Pass members are concerned, they are also getting a treat from Xbox. In the announcement post, Xbox confirmed, “Soon, eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive Discord Nitro benefits as part of our ongoing partnership. This will start later this month.”

As far as perks are concerned, Xbox Game Pass members will receive 250 Discord Orbs every month alongside a 1.2x bonus multiplier for completing Discord Quests. That’s not all; Xbox Game Pass members will also get automatically applied discounts inside the Discord Shop.

Since Xbox has used the word “eligible,” it’s unclear subscribers of which Xbox Game Pass plan will get the perks later this month. That said, Xbox has further confirmed that it’ll “keep working alongside Discord to bring players closer together.”

While the company hasn’t shared complete redemption details yet, it has promised to share details on how eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access these Discord benefits.
