Fallout 4 mods are coming to Xbox One users first

Mods will be coming soon to Fallout 4 on Microsoft’s Xbox One video game console. The game will update in the near future and once the new data has been downloaded and installed, users will be able to access and enable game mods from a new menu option in the main menu.

To create mods for the Xbox One version of Fallout 4, gamers will have to download Bethesda’s Creation Kit to their PC. Once the mods are finalized though, they will be available through the cloud on the Xbox One. Mods will be coming to the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 as well but Microsoft’s Xbox One will be getting the feature first.

Mods are essentially new features added to a game by fans. Examples of mods are new weapons of characters, new environments, and even new music and graphics. A video was released today which showcased some of the Fallout 4 mods that have already been approved. You can watch it above.
