Recently, we reported that Firefox on Android will soon let you lock Private tabs with a Screen lock. Another new feature, this time related to a menu redesign, is being tested by Mozilla. The Menu Redesign is expected to ship with the version 141 release.

When compared with the current menu design, which looks simple and allows quick access to bookmarks, history, downloads, passwords, extensions, and settings when you tap the three-dot menu icon, Mozilla’s new menu for Firefox on Android may surprise you.

The redesigned menu introduces Forward and Back navigation buttons, along with options for Refresh and Share. Frequently accessed options like History, Bookmarks, Downloads, and Passwords now appear in a single row, making them easier to reach.

Settings sit at the bottom of the menu, while a new Extensions section expands to show recommended add-ons. This redesigned menu is enabled by default in Firefox Nightly. If you’re not seeing it, you can turn it on via Secret Settings—just tap the Firefox logo three times in the “About Firefox Nightly” section within Settings.

Do note, that the new menu is still being worked on, and the final version may look different.
