Five XBOX Games Suddenly Delisted From the Microsoft Store

Five XBOX games have been delisted from the Microsoft Store without advance notice, leaving new players unable to purchase the affected releases.

Rising Moon Games removed the titles from sale, according to TrueAchievements. Neither the developer nor the publisher initially explained why the games disappeared.

The delisted games are:

• Space Elite Force 2 in 1
• Railway Islands
• Sokocat – Combo
• Match Village
• Busway Islands – Puzzle

The removal appears to stem from a change in publishing rights rather than a permanent decision to abandon the games.

Rising Moon Games later confirmed that QUByte Interactive is returning publishing control of the affected titles to the developer.

Of the 17 games released by Rising Moon, these five were the only titles published by QUByte Interactive. Rising Moon self-published most of its other games, while one title came through Mens Sana Interactive.

The games could return in new versions

Rising Moon plans to release new versions of the delisted games in the future, which means players should eventually get another chance to purchase them.

Space Elite Force 2 in 1 has already followed a similar path. Rising Moon previously re-released its two included titles separately as Space Elite Force – Reloaded and Space Elite Force II – Reloaded.

The developer could now use the same approach with Railway Islands, Sokocat – Combo, Match Village, and Busway Islands – Puzzle.

For now, the original versions remain unavailable to new buyers through the XBOX Store.

In other XBOX news, XBOX Free Play Days have been revealed, while a new XBOX Insider update brings cloud save restore alongside several other improvements.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has also confirmed that XBOX is not dropping Steam support as it expands its PC and future hardware strategy.
