If you are eagerly waiting for the Xbox Developer Direct 2026, you’re probably just as excited for Forza Horizon 6 as I am. The racing blockbuster is shaping up to be the biggest Xbox release for this year. However, a popular tipster, @billbil_kun from Dealabs, may have just spoiled Xbox’s party by leaking Forza Horizon 6’s confirmed release date, pricing in the US and Europe, and multiple editions with their release date. The leak covers pretty much everything you’d have hoped to see at the Developer Direct 2026.

Forza Horizon 6 will release on May 19, 2026, for $69.99 in the US, with three editions dropping on launch

According to the leaker, Forza Horizon 6 will officially launch on May 19, 2026. Players opting for the Premium Edition will get early access starting May 15, four days ahead of the standard release. That lines up with earlier reports pointing to a mid-May launch window.

The leak details three editions dropping on day one. The Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition both launch on May 19, while the Premium Edition unlocks earlier. Premium buyers will receive the VIP Membership, Car Pass, Welcome Pack, and the Time Attack Car Pack. Additional content packs are also expected to roll out after launch.

Details around the Deluxe Edition remain unclear for now. However, Microsoft typically reveals those closer to release. Well, the leaks didn’t stop there, as the leaker also posted a blurred image of the box art on X. Check the image below.

Folks at PushSquare and fans on Reddit speculate that the blurred red car at the front is apparently the Toyota GR GT, and the blue car at the far right is the Toyota Land Cruiser J250.

Physical copies, pricing, and preorder details

There’s good news for physical collectors, too. Forza Horizon 6 will get a physical release on Xbox Series X, though only for the Standard Edition. That version also lands on May 19.

As far as pricing is concerned, in Europe, the Standard Edition will cost €69.99 in Europe, which matches Forza Horizon 5’s launch price. In the US, the price is set at $69.99.

Preorders opening soon

Preorders are expected to go live today, roughly one hour after the Xbox Developer Direct begins. Both digital and physical editions will be available to preorder. With Japan already confirmed as the game’s setting and gameplay footage expected during the showcase, Forza Horizon 6 is clearly entering the final stretch before its big reveal. If everything holds, May 2026 is going to be busy for racing fans.
