You can do so on your desktop or mobile. The steps slightly differ depending on the device:

On Desktop

Follow these instructions:

  1. Sign in to your Skype account on the official website using your credentials.
  2. Once logged in, click on the three dots beside your profile picture or name and select Settings.

  1. Skype will ask for a reason. Select one then tap Cancel subscription.

On Mobile 

You can cancel your Skype subscription on your phone through the app store you’re using (in my case, Google Play Store) or directly from the app’s settings.

  1. Open your Skype app and tap on your name.
