What to do if images won’t display in Chrome?

1. Browse incognito

  1. Press the Three dots icon on the top right corner of Google Chrome.
  2. Select New Incognito Window.

  3. Try loading the desired images in incognito mode and see if it works.

2. Clear cache and cookies

  1. Click the Three dots icon on the top right corner of Google Chrome.
  2. Select More tools > click Clear browsing data.

  3. Choose a time range to delete the data, selecting All time is recommended in order to make Chrome work better.
  4. Select what kind of information you’d want to delete.
  5. Click Clear data.

4. Disable installed extensions in Google Chrome

  1. Click the Three button icon on the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Expand the More tools menu > select Extensions.

  3. Disable the extensions by clicking the toggle switch next to their name – toggle turning gray means the extension is disabled.

5. Enable JavaScript

  1. Click the Three dots icon on the top right corner of Google Chrome.
  2. Open Settings.

  4. Click Content Settings in the Privacy section.
  5. Select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) > click OK.
  6. Restart Google Chrome and see if it fixed the issue.

6. Turn off hardware acceleration

  1. Open Settings > Advanced.
  2. Find Use hardware acceleration when available in the System section and disable it.

  3. Restart Google Chrome and see if this fixed the issue

7. Update Google Chrome

  1. Click the Three button icon on the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Scroll to the Help section and expand it > click About Google Chrome.

  3. The update process will then start on its own.
  4. Hit the Relaunch button after the update is done.
