  2. Now that you have your CD/DVD with Windows 10 installation media you will have to double click or tap on the “This PC” which you can find on the desktop of the operating system or in the Start menu.
  3. You will need to find and write down the drive letter of the CD/DVD Windows 10 installation Media.
  4. Left click or tap on the “Start” button you have on the lower left side of the screen.
  5. In the search box you have there you will need to write the following: “command prompt” without the quotes.
  6. Press the “Enter” button on the keyboard.
  7. After the search is finished you need to right-click on the “Command prompt” icon and left click or tap on the “Run as administrator” feature.
  8. If you are prompt by a user account control window you will need to left click or tap on the “Yes” button in that window.
  9. In the command prompt window that shows up you will need to write the following command without the quotes:
    “Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:E:sourcessxs /LimitAccess”
    Note: In this case, the Windows 10 Installation media is on the “E” drive. If you have it on another letter drive please place instead of the “E” letter from the above syntax the letter you have it on.
  10. Press the “Enter” button on the keyboard.
  11. This should start the installation of the .net framework on to your Windows 10 operating system.
  12. When the installation is completed you will need to close the “Command Prompt”window.
    Note: When the installation is completed you will get the message “The operation completed successfully”
  13. Reboot your Windows 10 operating system.
  14. After the Windows 10 device powers up again you can go and see if you have your .net framework installed on your system.
