Introducing Razer Blade 18: The ultimate powerhouse with Thunderbolt 5, and 18-inch 200Hz 4K display

Recently, Razer introduced a desktop replacement laptop, Razer Blade 18, and called it the biggest, baddest, and most robust.

Razer Blade 18 is the first laptop ever with a huge, ultra-clear 18-inch 4K 200 Hz display, powerful Intel Core i9 HX series process, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU.

It is the first one to support Thunderbolt 5, which can carry data at a rate of up to 120 Gbps. You can connect high-speed drives and up to three 4K displays.

This is the first Windows 11 laptop with the biggest screen and sleek anodized aluminum unibody. It features Nvidia RTX 4070 to RTX 4090 and a total of 175W Total Graphics Power (TGP).

It also features a 5 MP webcam, a six-speaker array with THX Spatial Audio support, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and a GaN charger, a 60% smaller charger capable of charging your laptop up to 330W.

The laptop also comes in an alternate display option, which gives you a super-fast display, 18 inches QHD+ 300Hz Mini-LED, providing you with the smoothest visuals for immersive gaming and creative work,

In the press release, April 04, 2024, at 4 pm BST / 5 pm CEST, Travis Furst, Head of the Notebook & Accessories Division at Razer, said:

The Blade 18 embodies Razer’s relentless drive to push the boundaries of what a gaming laptop can be, with a host of world’s first innovations. We are excited to deliver the Blade 18 as it ushers in a new era of Razer products equipped with Thunderbolt 5, including upcoming cutting-edge Thunderbolt accessories. With these innovations, the Blade 18 blurs the line between desktop performance and mobile convenience, ensuring our users are equipped with nothing but the absolute best to dominate in gaming and creativity.

Jason Ziller, VP and GM of the Client Connectivity Division at Intel, said:

Thunderbolt 5 enables a game-changing level of performance, and it is exciting to see leading brands like Razer bring innovative solutions that incorporate it to market. Thunderbolt 5 enables total performance for video and data of up to 120Gbps via Bandwidth Boost – three times more than prior gen Thunderbolt – and twice the bandwidth for data transfer to deliver an outstanding solution for creators and gamers.
