It's Leap Day, and that means you have one more day to complete your February Xbox Rewards quests

Today it’s the 29th of February, a rare day called the Leap Day, which happens every 4 years. This is a special day, but Xbox users and gamers can make it even more special by taking advantage of it to complete the weekly Xbox Rewards quests.

Reddit users have been excited about it, so this comes as a unique reminder that today, you have an extra day to get those points that can get you an Xbox Game Pass or Diablo 4’s Battle Pass (and in the long run, you can gather as many points to get an Xbox console for free).

Even though the regular monthly quests have a deadline that is passed beyond the first of the month (for instance, the deadline for the February quests is the 4th of March), many users are happy about the extra day.

If you’re not aware, Xbox Rewards is a platform that is still part of but separate from the Microsoft Rewards program. Xbox users can earn Rewards points by simply playing games on their Xbox console, and the system has a gamification structure, meaning you can complete Xbox Rewards quests, that are released on daily, weekly, and monthly levels.

These points are then added to your Microsoft/Xbox account, and combined with the points that you get completing quests while enlisted in the Microsoft Rewards program (which, by the way, we have a guide on how to get the maximum daily points available, that you can check out here), you can easily amass tens of thousands of them in months.

So, if you don’t know about the program yet, and you haven’t enlisted in it, maybe it’s time to make time (literally around 30 minutes/daily) to complete the quests. If you already are engaged in similar systems, for example, mobile apps that use the gamification system, Microsoft Rewards/Xbox Rewards won’t feel like a chore that you need to complete, but more like a bonus.
