3. Allow League of Legends through Windows Defender Firewall

  1. Press the Windows + R keys, and type firewall.cpl, and click OK.
  2. Click the Allow an app or feature through the Windows Firewall option, then click Change settings below it.
  3. Click Allow another app, then Browse.
  4. Go to the League of Legends installation directory: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends
  5. Select the LeagueClient.exe file and click Open, then click the Add button at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Check the boxes for Private and Public columns next to League of Legends, and click OK.

4. Change your DNS server address

  1. Press Windows + R key and type ncpa.cpl.
  2. Right-click your network adapter and select Properties from the drop-down.
  3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
  4. Tick the box for the Use the following DNS server addresses option; type 1.1.1.1 in the Preferred DNS server, and the Alternate DNS server, type in 1.0.0.1.
  5. Click OK to save settings.
  6. Restart your PC for the changes to sync correctly.
