Booking, the Microsoft-based platform for booking meetings and appointments, will have the ability to track and monitor all scheduled appointments in real time.

Users, especially managers, can create or view appointments and even send email reminders and SMS notifications to staff and participants.

In an entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, the Redmond-based tech giant further explains it:

The new Queue experience in Bookings enables schedulers and Bookings users to view the status and monitor all scheduled in-person and virtual appointments. Users can quickly create or view an appointment and send staff and attendees email reminders and SMS text notifications.

The new capability will be released in February 2025.

Speaking of scheduling appointments, Teams recently introduced Microsoft Places to the world. That platform allows users to book offices on their own without having to resort to a manager.
