microsoft edge Restart Now

Microsoft released the 134.0.3096.1 update to Edge Dev, and with it, the Redmond-based tech giant introduced a new Restart Now button to the Browser Essentials, which was also recently added to Microsoft Edge. Users can restart the browser from this area safely.

Now, you might be thinking? Why would such a button be necessary when there is already a Close button?

With the new Restart Now button, you can restart Microsoft Edge safely without encountering any issues upon resuming. This is important because Edge automatically updates itself and sometimes might run into problems. The button can be used to fix or reset some of these issues.

The 134.0.3096.1 update also added a new Create new workspace option to the tab actions menu, making it easier for users to create workspaces in the browser.

The build also brings dozens of fixes to various issues in Microsoft Edge. You can read the full release notes here.
