Good news for managers and event organizers using Microsoft Teams: the Redmond-based tech giant will allow them to give other presenters permission to control slides.
This means that when you’re giving a presentation in a meeting or webinar, you can let other presenters help you control the slides. Instead of you being the only one clicking to go to the next slide, they can do it, too.
This makes the presentation smoother and more manageable because no one has to ask, “Can you change the slide for me?” anymore. Everyone presenting can work together seamlessly.
The new enhancement was announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap. Here’s what it says:
Meeting or event presenters can now share control of slides with fellow presenters eliminating manual slide changes and maintaining a smooth flow during meetings or webinars.
The feature will be released in May 2025. In similar news, Teams introduced Live Chat for businesses, which can be embedded in official websites as a widget.
