Microsoft Teams will be enhanced with a new feature to alert users when sensitive content is shared in virtual meetings.
This innovative technology safeguards this kind of content during presentations by actively detecting sensitive information displayed on shared screens and alerting the presenter and meeting organizers when such content appears.
The feature was announced in a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, and it works seamlessly by monitoring the shared content in real time and identifying any confidential or private material, such as personal data or classified documents.
Once detected, the presenter receives an alert, allowing them to address the situation promptly and ensure the privacy of sensitive information.
This addition aims to minimize the risk of accidental exposure of sensitive material during meetings, supporting professional and personal settings where confidentiality is crucial.
Here’s what the entry says:
Screen content shared during a meeting is protected by detecting sensitive content and alerting the presenter and organizers when it appears.
Microsoft says the new feature will be added to Teams in May and available to all users.
Speaking of sensitive content, Teams Rooms on Windows will be enhanced with facial recognition and Cloud IntelliFrame capabilities.
