Microsoft released the Copilot Dashboard a while ago, and the platform helps organizations keep AI usage metrics in place; according to a recent entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, it’s coming to Viva as well.
What will the Copilot Dashboard on Microsoft Viva do?
The entry says it helps users understand how employees are using Copilot and spot patterns or opportunities to improve. In turn, this can help businesses make smarter decisions about their licenses.
Users can also view how Copilot is being used (Adoption metrics) by the week or month and focus on specific groups of employees if they want.
They can also examine details like how much Copilot has helped (Assisted Hours), actions employees have taken, and specific features being used.
Copilot Dashboard users can now visualize trends in additional key adoption and impact metrics over time to more quickly identify patterns and opportunities in employee adoption for better licensing decisions. Users will be able to now view Adoption metrics on either a monthly or weekly timeframe for specific groups of interest, as well as deep dive into Impact metrics like Copilot Assisted Hours, Actions Taken, and feature-specific dimensions.
Microsoft will integrate Copilot Dashboard with Viva in April 2025.
