As you might already know, Microsoft brought Copilot to Outlook a while ago, on both the classic version (which is still going strong, and will still be supported up until 2029), and the new Outlook, giving users access to AI capabilities to edit, compose, summarize, and schedule their emails.
It seems that the Redmond-based tech giant will take things a bit further, and will allow Outlook users to have Copilot generate background themes for them, according to the latest entry in the Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
What does this mean? Well, you can customize your Outlook app just the way you like it, by telling Copilot to generate visuals for you.
According to the roadmap, the new capability will be introduced in July 2024, and it will be available to all Android, and iOS users.
Make Outlook yours with themes generated by Copilot. You will be able to find these themes in Settings.

In case you’re interested in this new capability, but don’t know where to start, if your organization uses Microsoft 365 as the main productivity platform, you can hop in Copilot Lab, where you can learn how to ask Copilot to generate the most intricate visuals properly.
This way, you’ll make sure Microsoft Copilot generates the best Outlook themes for you.
The Copilot Lab is a place where users can learn how to create the best prompts aka the things you say to Copilot, so that you can take the best advantage of what the AI model is capable of. Microsoft announced the platform last year, and made it available to Microsoft 365, as a way to increase the number of Copilot users.
