Microsoft has announced the general availability of groundbreaking features for Windows 365, including the Windows 365 Link, a purpose-built Cloud PC device that the Redmond-based tech giant announced last year. The small-to-fit-a-pocket device connects securely to Windows 365 in seconds, and it’s quite affordable, as well.
Priced at $349.99 in the United States, it offers seamless connectivity and ensures data security by deleting user profiles after sign-out. Is it worth it? The Windows 365 Link device is designed to streamline IT management and improve efficiency, particularly for desk-based or frontline workers.
It’s also very mobile, and it can be easily carried given that users have monitors to connect it to. Microsoft is also making it available to the other parts of the world for a similar price:
- AUD639 in Australia
- CAD519.99 in Canada
- EUR419 in Germany
- JPY56,800 in Japan
- NZD739 in New Zealand
- GBP349 in the United Kingdom
Along with the general availability of the Windows 365 Link, the Redmond-based tech giant also enhanced the shared mode for Windows 365 Frontline. This mode now allows multiple employees to access a single Cloud PC, making it ideal for retail staff, contractors, and training environments.
Microsoft has also introduced disaster recovery capabilities with Windows 365 Disaster Recovery Plus, providing rapid recovery options for Cloud PCs. Furthermore, the Windows App for Android is now generally available, expanding access to Windows virtualization solutions across major platforms.
This blog post provides more information about these Windows 365 Link and the upcoming enhancements to cloud technology.
