Minecraft is Down Now, Players Hit by "We Couldn’t Connect to the Minecraft Services" Error

If you are having issues accessing Minecraft right now, it’s just not you. Minecraft is seemingly facing an outage and is down for hundreds of players right now.

Several user reports point out that Minecraft players are getting error that reads, “Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn’t connect to the Minecraft services. Please connect to the internet to refresh your offline access. Try again.”

At the time of writing this, DownDetector is showing spike in user reports. Over 650 players have reported issues related to login, game launch, and server connection.

As of now, Mojang hasn’t confirmed the issue, but we expect it to provide an update on the matter. If we hear anything from Mojang, we will update this article. Stay tuned!
