MSI Dragon Center Not Updating: How to Fix it

If you own an MSI device, you might’ve noticed that MSI Dragon Center is not updating. This can be a problem and prevent you from updating your drivers or using the software properly. However, there are ways to fix it.
What can I do if MSI Dragon Center is not updating?
1. Reinstall the software
- Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
- Navigate to Apps and then select Installed apps.
- Locate MSI Dragon Center on the list, click the three dots next to it and select Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to remove it.
- Once the process is done, visit the MSI Dragon Center download page and download the software again.
2. Use MSI Center instead
- Follow the steps from above to remove the MSI Dragon Center.
- Once removed, go to the MSI Center download page.
- Download and install MSI Center.
MSI has discontinued Dragon Center software, and while the software is still available for download, you will likely experience issues if you continue using it.
If the MSI Dragon Center is not updating, a reinstall might help, but for a more permanent solution, you’ll have to switch to MSI Center.
