It has been a couple of weeks since the Windows 11 2022 update began rolling out, with a ton of features as well as enhancements. While we hit most of these in our previous posts, there’s a nifty and convenient trick that we didn’t get to. It lets users increase and decrease the volume on their devices as noted by Jen Gentleman, Sr Programmer at Microsoft on the Windows Insider team, and has a knack for keyboard shortcuts.

The conventional approach to this is quite tedious and calls for a bit of navigation, this could be done via the Control Panel’s Volume Mixer, the Quick Settings menu, or the Settings app. But now, you can adjust the volume on your Windows 11 device by hovering over the volume icon and scrolling the mouse wheel. Update your device to run on Windows 11 22H2 today to access this and more.
