Intel has released a new graphics driver, and it brings some serious performance gains for select Arc GPUs. The latest driver version 32.0.101.9150 delivers up to 31% higher average FPS in Resident Evil Requiem. The update also adds support for two upcoming gaming experiences and fixes several issues.

Intel’s new driver delivers major FPS gains

Released on October 12, Intel Graphics Driver 32.0.101.9150 WHQL adds Game On support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Planet Zoo 2. The update covers Intel Arc B-series and A-series graphics cards, alongside compatible Core Ultra processors with built-in Arc GPUs.

The biggest performance improvement targets Core Ultra Series 2 processors with integrated Arc graphics. Intel claims Resident Evil Requiem gains up to 31% average FPS at 1080p Medium settings and up to 29% at High settings. Other games also receive improvements. Assassin’s Creed Shadows gets up to 18% higher average FPS at 1080p Medium settings. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gains up to 11%, while Strange Brigade improves by up to 16%.

Intel Arc B-series graphics cards also receive gains. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Monster Hunter Rise each see up to 6% higher average FPS at 1440p High settings. Meanwhile, Core Ultra Series 3 integrated graphics gain up to 5% in F1 25 at 1080p Medium settings.

Intel fixes bugs but several issues remain

The driver fixes a blank-screen issue affecting Stormgate and crashes in PugetBench for Adobe Lightroom Classic. Intel also addresses a mouse-pointer visibility issue affecting Arc A-series graphics after system sleep or hibernation. However, the release still lists several known issues. Gears of War: E-Day may deliver lower-than-expected performance on Arc A-series graphics and certain Core Ultra Series 1 and Series 2 systems.

Other reported problems include crashes in Monster Hunter Wilds, Planet Zoo 2, and Stalzone. Intel has not provided a specific resolution timeline for these remaining issues. Intel’s latest WHQL release brings worthwhile improvements, especially for integrated Arc graphics. However, users should check the known issues before updating their systems.
